Genshin Impact revealed Version 5.3’s Genius Invokation TCG cards, which introduce Clorinde and Mualani as playable characters. Although Genshin Impact is an open-world RPG, it has added several more modes throughout time. Serenitea Pot and Genius Invokation TCG are the most prominent, with the latter adding to Genshin Impact in Version 3.3.
Since its release, Genius Invokation TCG has changed, but it remains a card game that simulates Genshin Impact’s battle mechanics. In Genius Invokation TCG, players assemble a team and add Artifacts, Food, and boosts. Genius Invokation TCG, launched in Version 3.3, lacks many characters, however Version 5.2 included Rosaria and Sigewinne.
Clorinde and Mualani join Genius Invokation TCG in 5.3. On Reddit, the official Genshin Impact account showed both characters, action cards, and game mode balancing modifications. Mualani is Genshin Impact’s first Natlan character in Genius Invokation TCG games. While her Elemental Skill is engaged, she swaps players on both sides of the field to maximize Normal Attack damage. However, Clorinde builds Bond of Life stacks to heal and do more damage. Normal Attacks can do this, but her Elemental Burst instantaneously fills Clorinde’s Bond of Life.
Genshin Impact: Version 5.3 Genius Invokation TCG Cards and Changes
One notable action card is the Demon Warrior’s Feather Mask, which gives the equipped character an Energy Point while using a Technique. Since Saurians in Genshin Impact are Technique cards, the Artifact card fits Natlan decks. People of the Springs, a new Support Card, adds one charge to player Summon usage, totaling three. This works with Mualani’s Elemental Burst to summon her shark.
Though some Genshin Impact players dislike Genius Invokation TCG, the material is mostly optional. Genius Invokation TCG’s popularity is undeniable, since the producers just developed a tangible Genshin Impact card game in China, allowing for in-person competitions. Version 5.3 launches January 1, 2025.
