A new QoL (quality-of-life) update to Genshin Impact should improve material arrangement, making character construction simpler. The action RPG by HoYoverse is finishing Version 5.0, the first update in the Natlan story arc, and will shortly release Version 5.1. The patch will include new Archon Quests, events, and a playable Xilonen, as announced during the Genshin Impact 5.1 webcast.
In major plot missions, players should keep collecting Mavuika’s warriors to fight the Abyss, albeit the patch’s events are unknown. After her teaser, Xilonen will be an NPC and playable 5-star Geo support character who can debuff foes and heal teammates. As well as the new material, the developer has revealed quality-of-life enhancements for existing features, one of which may make Genshin Impact character creation easier.
Many Genshin Impact 5.1 Updates from HoYoverse
In an official Developers Discussion post on HoYoLAB, HoYoverse revealed many QoL enhancements. If players have advanced enough this season, the Spiral Abyss has a skip function to maximize their time in the activity. Trounce Domain interfaces in the Adventurer Handbook have also changed. HoYoverse has also warned players that Genshin Impact 5.1 may not provide hundreds of free Primogems for exploring the initial Natlan areas launched in Version 5.0 in August.
The Crafting Bench in Genshin Impact 5.1 is revamped.
Crafting Bench changes are the biggest QoL improvements. The HoYoLAB article states that the Crafting Bench will now have a one-stop UI to help players identify needed materials for character and weapon Ascension and Talents. The Crafting Bench upgrade will let players choose a character and see their development materials. Genshin Impact filters this by character Ascension, Talents, and equipped weapon Ascension.
Along with presenting the materials the chosen character requires for whatever procedure the player selects, this update will enable the Crafting Bench to automatically compute how many copies each material are required and compare them to the player’s. The game will detect the resources required to complete the development when players create the needed materials. The article shows Kinich’s Genshin Impact ingredients need 12 Seasoned Fangs, yet the player only possesses 10.
Players may also pick an Ascension Phase when filtering characters by Ascension. Instead of growing a massive stock for the Ascension, players may precisely manage their farming efforts by threshold. Another handy feature introduced to the Crafting Bench update reveals how much of a material can be made instead of letting players calculate. Finally, the player’s recent characters will be shown at the top of the screen to simplify the Genshin Impact filter selection.
What Makes Genshin Impact 5.1 Crafting Bench Update Great?
Version 5.1’s Crafting Bench upgrades save time. A player may plan effectively without doing the arithmetic by showing how many copies they can make. Simply showing how many copies of materials a character needs for Ascension from the Crafting Bench saves time since the current procedure is to access the character’s Ascension page, open the Bench, forget about one of the materials, return to their character page in Genshin Impact, and then access the Bench again.
HoYoverse’s official announcement that it would be incorporated to Version 5.1 is credible. Over the last year, HoYoverse has considered system improvements and quality-of-life enhancements, which may make older systems simpler and faster to use as the game enters its fourth year. Unfortunately, the developer has not verified various leaks, including a possible Genshin Impact 5.1 storyline twist.
