Genshin Impact Leak Reveals Details About Upcoming 5.7 Game Mode

A recent Genshin Impact leak has unveiled extensive information about a new game mode expected to debut in Version 5.7. Since the game’s launch in 2020, players have consistently requested permanent game modes to keep them engaged after finishing each update’s content.

Currently, the Spiral Abyss stands as the game’s most well-known domain, challenging players to clear 12 increasingly difficult floors. Recent speculation has pointed toward the introduction of a similar, enduring mode sometime soon.

The leak claims players will begin by selecting a difficulty level, with higher tiers introducing additional Ley Line Disorders that make enemies tougher. Successfully clearing a higher difficulty grants rewards not only for that level but also for all easier ones, eliminating the need to complete every tier. The mode involves completing three back-to-back battles, and finishing all three stages will count as completing the challenge.

The leak also mentioned that for the first 10 days of the new challenge, Chaotic Ley Line points will enter a “bursting state.” During this period, players with Adventure Rank 45 or higher who complete the challenge on Dire difficulty or above can spend Resin to activate a special Chaotic Ley Line Blossom, which will multiply their rewards. Many fans are applauding HoYoverse for allowing higher difficulty clears to grant rewards from all lower levels—especially valuable given the game’s Resin-based reward system.

However, some players remain curious about how enemy rotations will reset in this new mode. They’re hoping it aligns with the Spiral Abyss, which once reset twice monthly but now only refreshes once a month following the release of other permanent modes like the Imaginarium Theater. There’s speculation that this new mode might follow a similar structure to Honkai: Star Rail’s Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction.
