The hit hero shooter Marvel Rivals is now on GeForce Now and available on most online devices. Through cloud streaming, Nvidia’s GeForce Now offers hundreds of titles in addition to Marvel Rivals.
Marvel Rivals, released early in December 2024, is by far the most anticipated multiplayer game of 2025. Marvel Rivals’ huge array of playable characters features some of the most famous superheroes in a comic-inspired manner. Marvel Rivals’ approach has caused fans to compare it to other triple-A superhero games like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Avengers to find the greatest interpretation of legendary heroes. Unfortunately, Marvel Rivals’ graphics quality makes it unaffordable for some players, especially those without a gaming PC, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series platform.
However, NetEase Games’ latest statement could bring Marvel Rivals to more platforms. According to a Steam page update, Nvidia’s cloud-based game streaming service GeForce Now now supports Marvel Rivals. GeForce Now subscribers can play Marvel Rivals in the cloud. The game will premiere on GeForce Now shortly after Marvel Rivals Season 1, which adds the Fantastic Four.
Marvel Rivals launches on GeForce Now
Device interoperability is GeForce Now’s strength. Members can play various Steam or Epic Game Store games over the cloud on cellphones, tablets, and web browsers. GeForce Now’s cloud servers also imitate high-end gaming hardware that may be better than gamers’ PCs or consoles. For example, if a potential player has a good internet connection, GeForce Now could save them from playing Marvel Rivals on a low-end PC.
Marvel Rivals boosts GeForce Now value. Since GeForce Now mostly extends players’ game library, those with less games may get less out of it. A successful new free-to-play game like Marvel Rivals makes the service more appealing to players without good gaming hardware. It may also mitigate contentious modifications, such as free tier advertisements or a GeForce Now playtime limit.
