Surprise for Banned Fortnite Player

Epic Games compensated a Fortnite gamer who was unexpectedly banned. Epic Games has always enforced Fortnite’s rules to ensure players’ enjoyment. Epic Games prohibits cheating, teaming, bullying, and hacking. The corporation will investigate and verify gamers’ claims of rulebreakers.

Players who violate Fortnite’s code of conduct may be temporarily banned. The length of the ban depends on what, how often, and how badly the player did it. Some players are banned for a few days for small reports, whereas others have been banned for nearly three million days.

Reddit user Owen1218 said they were wrongly banned from Fortnite for two weeks without knowing why. They claimed they hadn’t broken the rules. Epic Games admitted that it had wrongly punished the customer and gave them 2,000 V-Bucks, worth $20.

Fortnite User Wrongfully Banned

Players in the Reddit comments said Epic Games usually gives 2,000 V-Bucks if it wrongly bans an account. The compensation would have been the same if Owen1218 had been banned for two months or two days. This may not seem like much to Fortnite players who can’t play long.

Fortnite players must buy V-Bucks, unlock Battle Pass tiers, or buy Quest Packs in the Item Shop to earn them, making them hard to attain. Thus, some players joked in the comments about wanting to be randomly blacklisted and reimbursed. 2,000 V-Bucks is a fantastic method to recompense players, but Owen1218 was banned during Winterfest, one of Fortnite’s biggest annuals, and likely missed the New Year’s live event. They can still celebrate Winterfest until January 7 thanks to the Item Shop’s Winterfest skins, Winterfest Quests, and lodge gifts.
